Apple Did The Weirdest Thing With iPhone 13
Welcome back everyone, we can’t stop talking about the iPhone 13’s, but Apple did another really strange thing with these new iPhones. Now, I don’t think it’s a bad thing, but it is one of the first times we’ve ever seen Apple do something like this for their iPhones. Historically, what’s been the case is that pretty much every iPhone that has ever come out, they pretty much have the same exact chipset inside of it, so with the iPhone 11’s, they have the same Apple A13 Bionic chip, the iPhone 12 is the same Apple A14 Bionic chip, theoretically, the speed is the same (even though the RAM maybe a little bit different).
We’ve never really had a situation where the iPhone of that year would be slower technically on paper than the more expensive model of that phone. So last year, there was a 2-gigabyte difference between the RAM on the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro, was this a big deal? Not really since we’ve seen this before (even stemming back to the iPhone 7 Plus), but theoretically they were the same speed, this year that is not the case.
