Apple’s $49 Cases Are So Overpriced

Well everyone, every year I pick up Apple’s new silicone cases, and to be honest, I always feel like I'm losing my money when I purchase their cases. Now, Apple’s cases are $49 brand new, at that price tag I don’t think they’re that great of a deal, I believe these are great $25 cases, but $49 is pretty expensive. Interestingly enough, a few years ago (I believe it was for my iPhone 6S Plus), I actually accidentally bought a fake Apple case, I used it, and I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between my fake $10 silicone case and the brand new Apple cases I bought for way more money.

Now, another big thing about these cases is the durability, of the lack thereof. These cases tear on me all of the time, I’ve had several different cases from Apple that, within the first few months, the silicone begins peeling off. Because of this, I have to constantly go and buy another case from Apple, this is a very annoying thing to deal with from such an expensive case.
