Farewell iPhone 6S

So, it looks like the iPhone 6s is finally on its last leg, and we’ve been kind of talking about this for a few years. Now, it looks like iOS 15, the very random update that really didn’t bring too much to the table, is probably going to be the last update for the iPhone 6s! Now, a lot of these rumors came out yesterday, and it looks like iOS 16 is going to drop support for the 6s, 6S Plus, and the iPhone SE as well. Personally, when I saw that I pretty much wasn’t even surprised, I was kind of expecting it to be honest, as of this point, the iPhone 6s is the oldest supported iPhone right now, its predecessor actually stopped getting support many years ago (on IOS 12), so it’s about time this device finishes up full OS support.

Even though it’s somewhat sad, I’m also happy about the future of iOS, and now that we have some of these older iPhones somewhat out of the way, we can now focus on iOS getting a little bit better with more features. There were also a few people mentioning that the iPhone 7 series may drop support, I can definitely tell you that is not going to be the case, those iPhones will definitely get iOS 16.
