Instagram Is CHANGING

As if next year couldn’t be any crazier, it looks like Instagram is actually going to be changing up again, personally, I will never understand why developers give us features then take them away, but that’s essentially what's going on here. Essentially, the head of Instagram is saying that next year they’re going to offer the ability to give us our chronological feed back, what does that mean? Well, if you remember a few years ago, our Instagram feed was in chronological order, whoever posted most recently would be shown first, then Instagram changed it to an algorithm feed, now, Instagram is giving us the option to turn it back to our old ways.

Personally, I think this is an awesome feature to implement, but I do think it will make it a bit more confusing for Instagram creators, I’m sure a lot of them changed their posting methods for the algorithm, now they will have to change it for chronological as well. A big thing to remember about this is this is a toggle you can enable, it’s totally optional, if you prefer the older method (the algorithm way) you will still be able to use that way if you would like.
