iPhone 7 In 2022! (Still Worth It?) (Review)

So, we get to finally talk about none other than the iPhone 7, so let’s take a look at how this iPhone still holds up in 2022. Surspigly, this iPhone still feels somewhat premium, we have that 4.7-inch retina IPS panel on the front, we do quite a bit of bezel on it, but it’s really not that bad. We have the home button with Touch ID 2, we also have a lightning port on the bottom, but no headphone jack. On the back, we have the aluminum back, no wireless charging, but we do have IP certification. In terms of the outside, it’s definitely showing its age, but it doesn’t really feel cheap (in my opinion).

On the back we have a single 12mp camera, we also have a 7mp front-facing camera, and this camera is a little strange now. Basically, it still takes videos/photos, but nothing is going to surprise you, it’s a fairly outdated-looking camera. Images look grainy, but the main issue is the lack of features, we don’t have an ultrawide/telephoto lens, we also don’t have 4K@60 on any of the lenses, and we don’t have portrait mode either. Essentially, this isn’t a bad camera, but when compared to any of the more recent iPhones, it’s definitely showing its age.
