iPhone Features Apple Took Away

Welcome back everyone, if you guys remember, there were a ton of features that Apple actually pushed out to a ton of iPhones that they’ve actually taken away, and I wanted to hit on them. Now, all of us kind of know the popular stuff like the headphone jack, the 30 pin connector, but let’s go and hit on a couple of other things that I think are pretty interesting that people probably forgot. The first thing, which if you remember was one of the craziest things Apple did at that time, is actually turning off the ability of actually fully turning off wi-fI and Bluetooth from our control center. Some of you may not know this, but if you pick up your iPhone and you get into the control center, if you disable your wi-fI or Bluetooth you will see that they actually don’t toggle off completely, they actually just toggle to white now, this means that they will basically stop the connections between you and your wifi/Bluetooth, but you can only disconnect it from the settings.

Another massive feature Apple removed was force touch, this was a massive deal when it first happened, but I think people have forgotten about it by now. For those who don’t know, force touch came with the iPhone 6S, and it allowed you to hard press into different elements of a page and gain more information about it, it was an awesome feature for sure! Ultimately, Apple probably saw how expensive it was and stopped supporting it, but all of the iPhones between the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 11 actually support this feature still.n t

Another thing Apple actually removed for pretty much all their devices was the home button, I think everyone knows this, I like the gesture-based design, but I do miss the fingerprint sensor. At this point, I feel like Apple could easily bring in the fingerprint sensor again, all of their competitors have done it, so it doesn’t really make any sense why Apple can’t do this again. Don’t get me wrong, I like Face-ID, but nothing comes close to the accessibility of a fingerprint sensor.
