iPhones Are About To Change
Well, it looks like Apple is going to have a little bit of a competition here, and in my opinion, iPhones are really about to change like crazy. Now, if you guys aren't familiar, there's been a lot of this back and forth with Apple essentially allowing us to sideload applications, sideloading is the ability to install whatever applications we want, whether they are on the App Store or not. For those who don’t know, sideloading is already capable on a ton of devices, including Androids, Macs, Windows, and many other devices, except for the iPhone.
The main reason Apple does this (from their point of view) is security, they want to make sure all of the applications are vetted properly, but there have been many times where applications were not secure and still put on App Store. In my opinion, I think it may be due to the revenue, since Apple makes a ton of money from their App Store, they really don’t want anything to come in the way of that. Interestingly enough though, Microsoft has now brought up this matter, specifically talking about how they are going to start adhering to an open app store policy, you can read more about this on their website:
