Never Do This To Your MacBook / iMac!
--
Well everyone, another public service announcement, pretty much every single year a new beta comes out, people just go and rush and flock to install this specific update. Now, what I’ve seen on iPhones/iPads, it really isn’t that crazy of an update, there are bugs and everything, but typically a lot of people can get over these things by simply restarting their phones. However, one thing that I’ve seen time and time again is that on your MacBooks, in my opinion, every single beta of any version of macOS seems to be more buggy in general than other counterparts, such as iOS/iPadOS/ and tvOS.
Now, I did install a macOS beta a long time ago, I think three years ago, on a MacBook that I owned and it was a horrible experience, I had a horrible time with it. In fact, I had a factory reset everything, and then I lost almost all of my data, and it was a horrible experience, I will never do it again. The funny thing is, even though I was running betas on my iPhones, I would never run another beta on my Mac ever again.
If you have a side device, like a Mac that you’re not using anymore, then, by all means, install a beta on it, but for your personal machine, I would highly recommend staying away. Overall, betas are great, but please stay away from installing this experimental software on your Macs!
That’s pretty much it! if you guys have any other questions let me know in the comment section as well, more important than everything else I love every single one of you, hopefully, I’ll catch you in the next article!
