Older iPhones Don’t Get This New iOS 15 Feature

So, iOS 15.4 just came out in a beta form, and there was an awesome feature that came out, but it looks like it’s only on some of the newer iPhones. So, iOS 15.4 gives us the ability to unlock our iPhone with a mask on, this is an awesome feature, in my opinion, it’s a few years too late, but better late than never! What’s the negative of this feature? Well, it looks like it’s only for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, if you own an iPhone 11 or older, sorry, your iPhone is not supported with this.

Now, this doesn’t make any sense to me personally, I looked at the differences between the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 12, and I couldn’t really find too many differences from the Face ID sensors from both devices, so why did Apple artificially limit the number of devices that have this capability? I’m not too sure. Interestingly enough, this new feature actually unlocks your iPhone with the image around your eyes, so it takes in a lot more detail there, but I still can’t see any reasons why an older iPhone, like an iPhone 11, can’t gain this feature either.
