The Phone I Wish I Never Sold
Hey everyone, as some of you may know I’ve been talking a lot about Android’s, iPhones, and many other devices throughout the last couple of years, and there was a time where I would buy/sell phones, I don’t do that anymore, but there was a phone that I wish I never resold, that specific phone was the Nexus 4. Now, that specific Nexus 4 was my personal device, I got it for a very good value, and it was easily one of my most beloved devices ever. With that Nexus 4, I truly felt like I was part of a much bigger community, this device had the ability to easily root it/install a custom ROM on it, making it a developer-friendly device.
I loved scrolling through many different forums at that time and installing random custom ROMs, I probably wouldn’t recommend doing that anymore, but the fact that so many people were developing ROMs for that device made me feel like the Nexus 4 would last forever. On top of that, there are so many similarities between this older Nexus and the newer Pixels, when I hold that Pixel 6 and I hold that Nexus 4, it’s crazy how many similarities there are between them. Unfortunately, my Nexus 4 had a very cracked back, it also had a missing camera lens as well, making the camera quality even worse than what it should have been (which was notoriously not the best).
Eventually, I did end up buying a Nexus 4, but I do wish I still had the original one since I modified that one like crazy. A few years ago I did reach out to the original owners of that device, they have never reached back out to me (that email probably went straight to their spam folder). Overall, I loved this Nexus 4, and I truly made a lot of memories with that device, what do you think?
