So, after installing One UI 4 on pretty much a lot of my devices, I realized that my Galaxy S8 could have easily supported this software, and it just goes to show how beautiful/how great of a phone this specific device was. Now, the Galaxy S8 stopped getting support a couple of years ago, and overall it’s still pretty good, it’s still somewhat current, but when you actually look at a device that has One UI 4 installed, you will see how many similarities there are between these versions of software.

One thing I loved about the new phones is the gesture-based design, unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy S8 doesn’t have it (fully), but this phone could have easily supported it. On top of that, this phone still has a Micro-SD card slot, USB-c port, and headphone jack as well, that is an amazing amount of input to have on a device like this! This phone is still a fairly decent performing device as well, it really isn’t that slow, and that just makes me think that this device could have supported One UI 4.

So, in my opinion, I think this was an artificial limit that Samsung put on to the Galaxy series early on, especially with the Samsung Galaxy S8, these phones could have easily supported the next version of Android, but for some reason, these phones did not get it. There’s still a lot of overlap, of course, the Galaxy S21 is the faster one in pretty much every single area, but when I looked at the Galaxy S8, I’m still surprised how great that phone is still. Overall, I truly do think that the Samsung Galaxy S8 could have gotten One UI 4, what do you think?

That’s pretty much it! if you guys have any other questions let me know in the comment section as well, more important than everything else I love every single one of you, hopefully, I’ll catch you in the next article!
