Why You Shouldn’t Update Your iPhone

Well everyone, as most of you know I spent a lot of time on my channel talking about a lot of different updates with software, but I’ve also spent a bit of time specifically with iPhone software, and there are many reasons why you may not want to go and update immediately when a new version of iOS comes out.

Now, if an iOS update has been out for several weeks and everyone says it’s stable, then I would recommend updating, but if there is a pretty major release (Ex: iOS 14.7, iOS 14.8) especially if it’s a major release (Ex: iOS 15, iOS 14, iOS 13), I would definitely recommend waiting it out, why do I recommend this? Mainly for one reason, stability, Personally, I like having a stable phone, I don’t want problems/issues when using my device, and most of the time I actually do install the update, I do find a few issues within the first few days (which tend to go away), so what’s the point of waiting? Well, you essentially get to “wait” out the problems, and if there is a major problem with an update, Apple will release an update to your phone within a short period of time.
